Emily had to specific request for their engagement session. She wanted to include her love of giant Florida oak trees filled with hanging moss and Joe's love of a good cold beer! So naturally we headed to the Thomas Center first. Emily wore a lovely, floral dress that blended so nicely with the lush green surroundings. Then we headed over to the Downtown Gainesville area by the Hippodrome for look number two. Emily decided on a sleek, silky white halter dress for that editorial modern vibe. Loved it!! We finally made our way to Cry Baby Bar just a few blocks away; a local bar where they love to sit back and relax. I made sure to get the ok to take photos of them here before the shoot and let me tell you the photos did not disappoint! We got a great table by the windows and then a few intimate ones by the bar. It was a great way to end the session since they were able to stay and finish their drinks taking a few selfies to remember the evening.

How did I know they loved beer and wanted that Downtown vibe? Communication! I send every couple an engagement session questionnaire to get to know their likes, personalities, interests and love language. I also guide them in how to achieve the aesthetic and feel for their session, which includes going through wardrobe and location options.
