Why I Love Being My Job
My natural, genuine care for others, allows me to create relationships with couples of different backgrounds and cultures. This career as a Gainesville engagement photographer, has taken me to some pretty unique places all over Florida, including Gainesville Historic Buildings and infamous football stadiums. Still, my favorite part of being a photographer are my couples. Getting to know them and capturing their connection. Sometimes I get so excited during a photo shoot or session that it makes others laugh. But I truly do love capturing real people, real moments, in beautiful settings.
Film and Digital Photographer
It's crazy to think about, but I've been taking film images since I was ten years old. My mom gifted me a camera for my fifth grade graduation and I took so many photos during our family vacation that year. Fast forward a few decades later, digital photography is more common and allows for soooo many more images and moments captured. However, there's still something so special about film. Anxiously waiting for the film to be developed, the beautiful warm aesthetic in and tones in the images, and the nostalgia of it all... I just love it! I shoot engagement photos with a Nikon Z7ii mirrorless camera and the Mamiya 645 film camera.

After getting an understanding of your relationship connection, my editorial approach will allow me to create a comfortable space. Knowing when to give gentle direction and then let moments unfold, allows me to weave together a narrative that will evoke how you feel in this beautiful season in your life and milestone in your relationship. With subtle, foundation posing tips and fun personal prompts, couples find themselves enjoying their session allowing for authentic, real moments.
