Sweetwater Branch Inn Wedding Venue in Gainesville, FL
Sweetwater Branch Inn wedding venue in Gainesville, Florida has so much to offer it's hard to know where to start! With romantic elegance, picturesque locations, and accommodations like no other, this venue is a must see! I recently had a tour with the lovely Adrienne, Event Director at Sweetwater Branch Inn. Come along with me and let's take a look at what this venue has to offer for couples searching for a wedding venue in Historic Gainesville, Florida.
Sweetwater Branch Inn wedding day point of view
One of the unique features of this venue is all the accommodations. The Sweetwater Branch Inn offers 29 guest rooms, suites and cottages for family and friends, two acres of gardens for perfect for outside wedding ceremonies, the McKenzie Banquet Hall for receptions and the Historic McKenzie House for smaller wedding celebrations.
For getting ready photos, I love a naturally, well lit room, and this venue has it! The Carriage House can be a perfect spot to get all the bridesmaids ready in one place, as well as take some fun getting ready photos.
Garden Ceremony
For couples looking for an outside garden ceremony, this venue is a wonderful option. With it's lush flower garden, romantic gazebo, twinkle lights, and three column colonnade, this venue can be like walking into a fairytale.
McKenzie banquet hall
This spacious and elegant event hall and patio area are able to occupy over 200 guests. Inside the hall with a dance floor, you can comfortably accommodate 130 guests and 150 without. Another unique feature of this venue is their catering and chef staff. Their in house team of professionals take pride in exceptional service and delicious food options. Amenities include free parking, the event director on site, free wireless internet, the tables, chairs and linens are provided and more!
The Historic McKenzie House & Honeymoon Cottage
One of the first historical buildings you see as you pull into the property is the McKenzie House. Built in 1895, this three story Victorian home has a private banquet area for intimate weddings of up to 65 guests on the first floor and a gorgeous staircase for a must have wedding couple's photo. The House also features guest rooms upstairs and a shaded wrap around porch outside.
The Honeymoon Cottage is a wonderful option for couples who don't want to travel after a long eventful wedding day. The cottage has a luxurious bedroom, a full bath with skylight and even a kitchen space.
